Because of the lack of official records of the family of Ezra
, we can not be sure Zerviah was his daughter, but the name was
commonly used by members of this branch of the family. Also, her
marriage is recorded at Swansea, Mass. where her family had resided,
and since no other Zerviah Ormsbee is recorded at this time, it
seems reasonable that she was Ezra's daughter.
Dr. Millie Chapman lists her as a daughter of Ezra.

John Mason, born Oct. 3, 1716 at Swansea, Mass., married Oct.
26, 1738 Zerviah Ormsbee. She died July 20, 1765 aged 47 years.
This is reasonable evidence she was born in 1718 at the right
time to be Ezra's daughter.
Perez Mason was born on 9 Apr 1747 in Swansee, Bristol,
Massachusetts, USA. He died on 17 Mar 1825 in Lyman, Grafton,
New Hampshire. He was married to Martha Barney on 10 May 1772
in Swansee, Bristol, Massachusetts.
Martha Barney was born on 18 Feb 1754 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts. She died on 10 Mar 1823 in Lyman, Grafton, New Hampshire.

There is no record of her birth or death in any Vital records.
However, in the R.I. vital records for the Town of Barrington,
where Ezra's family resided, in Vol. 6 under Ints. of Marriage,
we find; Mary Amsby of Barrington, R.I. married Hezekiah of Rehoboth,
Nov. 12, 1740 at Barrington.
Dr. Chapman lists Mary as a daughter of Ezra.
Since Ezra's family was the only Ormsbee family recorded at Barrington,
R.I. at this time, and since girls were usually married at an
age of about 18 years, which would indicate her birth at about
1722, it is safe in saying that Mary was the 3rd child of Ezra
and Mary Ormsbee.

27, 1754 for Jonathan Horton, Jr. and Phebe Ormsbee of Bristol,
R.I.
The family of Ezra Ormsbee was the only Ormsbee family known to
be in this area of R.I. at this time. It would be logical for
Phebe to be getting married at an age of about 20 years, so that
her birth would be about 1734. This date would place her as one
of Ezra's children between John and Joseph.
The marriage took place Dec. 5, 1754 at Warren, R.I.
Jonathan Horton, Jr., b. July 1, 1733, was the son of Jonathan,
Sr. and Anne (Millard) Horton.

Ezra's family seems to be the only Ormsbee family living at
Bristol at this time, and they used the spelling Ormsbe. Also
if we use the age of 19 years for Ruth's marriage, it would place
her birth at 1738, which would fit the pattern of births of Ezra's
children, and make her next after Joseph.
